There was a time --- When getting more friendship bands made us feel more superior than the rest..
... I gave a friendship band to a not so good friend hoping to get one in return...
... I made sure that the band i gave others stands out...
...I left space in between two bands so that it looks more in number...
...made use of friendship bands to categorize my friends into --- very good(who would get the most expensive one), good(these would get less expensive ones), not so good (these would get home made bands, made with wool n ribbon )
... I fought with my mom over the budget, who thought buying friendship bands were a sheer waste of time n money.
... I would compete with my sister over the number and / or quality (which ever was making me win) of the bands
.... I spent the night tying plaits with those multi- coloured wool to make my band look attractive.
Now things have changed ... these things seem kiddish and superficial...
after staying away from home.. i have realized the value of friends and friendship...
so here i am ...
WISHING U ALL A VERY HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY
